Seeking God Through Story
We all love stories. Whatever the format or venue, humans have a seemingly insatiable desire to journey with others; on grand adventures, through terrible tragedies, in search of love or treasure, accommplishment or transcendence. We attach words to things to create order. We tell stories about them to find meaning. Whether you believe in God, gods, science, nature, technology, medicine or all of the above stories can deepen your understanding, spark your interest, & change your feelings. We needn't share the same beliefs in order to seek the same Truth. If our minds are open and our hearts are generous we can share all of our stories with each other, and find meaning and connection in every one.
About Paul Traynor
Paul has been telling stories for years, many of them true. He's a filmmaker, writer, corporate speaker, emcee, actor and podcaster. He tells stories about corporate brands, not-for-profits, faith communities, political initiatives, current events, addiction recovery and mental health issues. Paul's a progressive, Christian, yogi, dog-lover, survivor, addict, seeker, humorist and occasional troublemaker. He lives in the northern Chicago suburbs with his beautiful wife, five exceptional children and two spirited & malodorous dogs.
